Interest Groups

Interest groups meet around shared passions, common concerns or other activities.

  • Book Club: probes the world of contemporary fiction and non-fiction and the authors behind these works. Meets (usually) on the last Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Bell Trace.

  • Earth Stewards: Raises awareness, advocates for change, and works throughout the community for environmental justice.

  • Faith & Film: Have you ever wanted to view and discuss films and their faith implications? This small group meets the first Sunday of each month to do just that. If you are a movie person, this small group could be just right for you. Contact Boyd Hahn -

  • Gardening Group: Works to beautify and maintain church property.

  • Presbyterians Outdoors: Meets periodically throughout the warmer months to enjoy and experience God's good creation. Outings are suitable for all ages and typically consist of about a one mile walk along one of our local trails. Contact Paul Rothrock -

  • Fiber Arts and Prayer Shawl Ministry: includes crocheters, knitters, weavers, spinners, quilters, cross-stitchers and more.  We create prayer shawls and laps blankets for difficult, sad, and joyful times. We make various garments for charity, donations for the Christmas store and our own projects. We are big on laughter, learning new skills and helping each other. Come early, leave late, come late, leaves early, just come! Meets in the Parlor: second Monday 1:30-4:30 p.m. and/or fourth Wednesday 6:30-8:00 p.m.  Contact Sue Connell, (812) 339-8768 or
